Nonprofits on the road to digital transformation

Unit4's research at the NetHope Global Summit 2023 highlights nonprofit organizations in the US and UK are progressing with digital transformation, especially in cloud-based finance and HR systems. The majority of nonprofits are set to implement these solutions within the next two years, with 95% confident that cloud-based solutions will positively impact their organizations.

• 62% of global nonprofits prioritize digital transformation, with 64% in the UK.
• 43% have fully implemented cloud-based solutions; 39% in the UK, 46% in the US.
• The main benefits of cloud solutions include better accessibility (90%), enhanced collaboration (89%), and flexibility to integrate new functionalities (88%).

Although adoption is progressing, challenges like resistance to change, siloed information, and integration issues remain. Nonprofits must focus on change management and proper planning for successful cloud adoption.
